An Angel on Earth and now in Heaven
It is with heavy hearts, we announce our sweet & beloved Mother and Grandmother has gone home to be with the Lord. Joining in Heaven with her husband Walter Mills, Jr.
She will be missed by: Her son Brian Mills, his wife Ida Mills and her daughter Bonny Imperatrice.
Her Grandchildren Rebecca, Brandi and Diana Mills, Stevie and Corey Imperatrice, Wyatt, Tyson, Payton (Scott), and Faith Kennedy.
Her Great Grandchildren Davie, Parker and Walter Dean Mills.
And many beloved family and friends.
Sandy was a very sweet & loving woman. She loved her Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. She loved going to church and learning the stories of the bible. She loved her family. Sandy & Walter enjoyed traveling, camping and visiting with her brother and sister in law, Alford and Earlene Mills. She treasured holidays, birthdays and get-togethers with family. Sandy loved her cat, Baby Girl, and spoiled her tremendously.
She was a gun expert. She and her husband owned a gun store for over 30 years. She was very good at "wheelin & dealin" as she called it.
She worked as a blackjack dealer for 10 years. She always enjoyed the game and could beat us all right up to the end.
Sandra was born and grew up in Barbourville, KY, where she met and married the love of her life. They moved to Harvard, IL where she worked in a factory and her children were born. She spent time in Germany where her husband was stationed in the Army. They moved to Arizona where she lived out her life. Her wishes were to lay next to her husband in Eternity in their home of Kentucky.
She will be missed by many. Our hearts are broken, but we know she is an angel watching over us, holding tight to her husband and in the presence of the Savior.
Revelation 21:4 "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away"
John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her "I am the resurrection and the life. The one that believes in Me will live, even though they die" and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."
