Sandra Kay Morgan "Sandy" better known as Mimi, 82, sadly passed on peacefully Sunday September 10, 2023. She was born on December 4, 1940 in Titusville Florida to Helen & Ernest Kyzer. She was the granddaughter of George W. and Grace Scobie.
Sandy was born and raised in Titusville. She raised her children and lived out her life in Cocoa Beach. Her contributions to the lives of many included owning former local Italian restaurant 'Almas' and also working for Health First for 18 years. She loved to read, gamble, shop, and spend time with her family.
Sandy is survived by her children, Tonya and Timmy Morgan, and their spouses Glenn Pinson and Marlene Morgan; her grandchildren Sophia Garrido, Morgan and Olivia Fiedler; by Lauren Barley and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her husband, Tim Morgan, her sister, Shirley Barley and brother, Ray Kyzer. Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with as well as the community of Cocoa Beach.
Come together and celebrate her life this Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 10:30AM at The Lutheran Church-Resurrection on Minuteman Causeway in Cocoa Beach with a reception to follow. The family is requesting happy, cheerful, Cocoa Beach attire.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Prostate Cancer Foundation under Timmy Morgans name.
