Sandra Morris Obituary
In 1972, after finishing high school, Sandy met and wed Joseph Alan Downing. They were together until 1978 and they had one child, Sandi Jo. In 1979 she met Randy B. Morris and their marriage was blessed with two daughters, Angela and Alisha.
As a wife and homemaker, Sandy gave all the love she had to those around her. She was always there to support and show unwavering love to her family and friends. She was always the first to offer any type of help to anyone in need, even donating a kidney to a family member in 2007. She had a smile, hug, and kind words for everyone she met. Throughout her life, Sandra had a solid foundation and relationship with Christ. She was baptized in 2011 and you would often find her praying, reading her Bible, or listening to Christian singer, Lauren Daigle. She loved to have conversations with anyone about Christ, talking about all the times that Christ had worked in her life. Her favorite story was when she donated her kidney and she told everyone that Christ told her that she was a match. She told everyone that when the time came for her to "go home and meet Christ" that would be her best day. She had a huge heart and a love for animals, especially horses and dogs, and often said that when the time came to go home, she would run through the stars with the horses.
Sandra was predeceased by her husband, Randy Morris; one grandson, Randy Aiden Morris and her father, Gene Blalock.
Sandra is survived by her daughter, Sandi Jo King and granddaughters, Ashlynn and Amber King; daughter, Alisha D. Morris and granddaughter, Ella G. Morris; daughter, Angela C. Morris and granddaughter, Shalan G. Tucker; her mother, Ellen Blalock; many other family members and a host of friends.
