Sandra Nichols Obituary
Sandy retired from Chevron. She loved travelling and fishing, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Alice (Jones) Nichols, brother, Larry Nichols, and sister-in-law, Judy Nichols.
Sandy is survived by her sister, Janice Feldt; her life partner, Tommy Miller; stepson, Dustin Miller; niece, Renada Boone (Stacy); nephews, Todd Feldt, Scott Nichols (Amy) and Charlie Nichols; great nieces, Elizabeth Boone, Alyceson Feldt, Whitney Feldt, and Savannah Nichols; and several cousins.
Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway. Funeral service will be 12pm Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the funeral home followed by burial at Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or The American Cancer Society.

Sandy, you were an icon for each of us in the Nichols legend. Your funny personality lit up the room as well as my heart! Your little cousin who looked up to you, even though I was taller than you!! Watching you cut hair, put makeup on, spraying your perfume and never forget you putting on your "tiny shoes". I thought it was funny I wore a larger size than you! Even though larger by number only, there will never be a person in the Nichols family who can fill your shoes! Always giving, going above and beyond to meet the demand of whatever crisis you were helping with! Rest in peace "cousin"! Your legend you have shared with each of us will always be remembered! Thank you for being you! Your cousin, Joyce Ann!!
