Sandra H. Nusbaum was born on December 12, 1949, in
Dodge City, Kansas, to Jim and Rowena Henry. She peacefully passed away on January 7, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion.
Sandra grew up in Oklahoma City with her four sisters, in a home less than a mile from where she would later marry and raise her family. She completed high school and took a few college classes pursuing an associate degree, but her heart led her to focus on raising her family. Sandy's greatest joy and accomplishment was being a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Larry Nusbaum. She poured her heart into loving him deeply and raising their four children to love one another, to love others, and most importantly, to love Jesus.
Professionally, Sandra worked as a medical transcriptionist for the University of Oklahoma. She was compassionate about helping others and found great fulfillment working with charities such as Feed the Children. Not only did she believe in giving back to her community both personally and professionally, she wanted to instill those values in her children. Sandra routinely took her kids to nursing homes and loved seeing the smiles on faces of the patrons. In addition to her professional and volunteer work, Sandra ran a successful Tupperware business for many years, where she made lifelong friends and earned supplemental income to support her family.
Sandra had a deep love for gardening and raising chickens. She found joy in tending her yard and harvesting the fruits of her labor. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing the piano and had a passion for crafts of all kinds. As a mother she encouraged her children to embrace creativity, grow their strength, and pursue their dreams.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Rowena Henry; her older sister, Kathy Reeves; and her dearly loved son, Todd. She leaves behind her loving husband, Larry Nusbaum; her daughters Sheri Glover (husband Mark) and their children Kallum and Kaden; Cindy Trosclair (husband Richard) and their children Liam and Cyndal; and her son Timothy Nusbaum (wife Keren) and their children Jason, Kimberly, and Carlos. To her children and their growing families, she will be lovingly remembered as "Momma," "Grammy," or "Mimi."
Dedication: Sandra's life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and family. Her enduring spirit, kindness, and devotion touched all who knew her. May her memory be a blessing and her legacy inspire generations to come.
