Sandra Jean Osborne

Sandra Jean Osborne (LaMountain), 69 years old, sadly passed away on January 18, 2025 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, S.C. After a long courageous battle with Chronic Kidney Disease with her loving family surrounding her.
Sandy was born on January 15, 1956 in Glens Falls, NY to the late Reginald E. and Joyce V. (Rock) LaMountain. She attended Whitehall Central School, graduating in 1975. On October 29, 1977, Sandy married her husband and lifetime supporter Howard Osborne Jr.
Sandy and Howie owned and operated Howie's Bar and Grill in Whitehall, NY for many years. She also worked at Sherwood Medical, retiring after 10 years. Sandy went on to further her education. She graduated in 1999 from Adirondack Community College with an Associate's degree in Health Information Technology. She worked for many years at the Glens Falls Hospital until her retirement. Sandy had many dear friends and always had a kind word for everyone she met. She was truly an "Angel" on earth. To those who loved her and knew her best, she was the strongest women on this earth.
Sandy enjoyed crafting of many kinds including woodworking, sewing, and painting. Most recently she enjoyed quilting and making crafts with seashells. She and Howie were both involved in the Whitehall Elks and State Elks Organization for many years. Her most favorite moments were spending time with her family and friends.
Besides her parents, Sandy was predeceased by her brother, Ronald P. LaMountain, sister Judith I. (LaMountain) Longtin, Parents in-laws Howard Osborne Sr. and Eileen (Goodale) Osborne, sister and brother in-law Patricia (Osborne) and Raymond Hilder, son in-law Larry Brown and her special little angel granddaughter Guenevere Jean Varney.
Left to cherish Sandy's memory is her husband Howie Osborne Jr., her daughters Nicole (Darrin) Gosselin, Cherie Brown and Charity (Brian) Davis; sister Michele (Jeff) Belden; grandchildren Presley, Ronin and Thorin Gosselin, Aaron Brown, Emily, Colin and step grandson Hayden Davis; sister in-law Lynda LaMountain (Ron), sister and brother in-law Marion (Osborne) and Harold Austin and several Aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 12pm, Saturday, February 1st 2025 at Our Lady of Hope in Whitehall, NY. Followed by a Celebration of Life being held at the Whitehall Elks Lodge from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. The Lodge of sorrow will be held at the Elks Lodge at 1:45pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
