Sandra was born July 27, 1939 in Belle Fourche to Joseph and Lucille Davis. She attended school in Belle Fourche and because of her illnesses she never got the chance to finish school. She decided to go back to school to further her education at Central Georgia Technical College where she received her GED at the age of 81 making her the oldest one there.
She married Olaf Carl Erikson Jr. and to this marriage 3 children were born Richard, Mary Kay and Katherine. She was widowed on May 29, 1968. She remarried on October 3, 1968 to Delmer Oster until his passing on June 29, 2005. She enjoyed working on the ranch with Delmer.
Sandra worked in the kitchen as a cook and dishwasher at a nursing home in Spearfish and in Belle Fourche. She was a kind, sweet and giving person who loved her family. She enjoyed bowling, crafting and Bingo
She is survived by her children, Richard (Laurie) Oster of Hulett, WY, Mary (Larry) Bundtrock of Broken Arrow, OK and Katherine (Joe) Messier of Melbourn, FL and stepdaughter, Valerie Christensen of Seattle, WA; brothers, Wesley Davis, Ron Davis, Dan Davis and Byran Davis all of Belle Fourche; sisters, Joan Anderson, Marcia Richards and Beverly Penn all of Spearfish; her 7 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Lucille; husbands Olaf Carl Erikson Jr. and Delmer Oster; brothers Al Davis and Don Davis; sisters Florence Steddilie and Shirley Hise and her stepson Gary Oster and great granddaughter Luna Winstead her little Angel.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, February 10th at 2:00 pm in the Memorial Building at Pine Slope Cemetery in Belle Fourche.
