Our mother Sandra Sue Presley Pace left us unexpectedly on July 22, 2024 due to complications from diabetes/renal failure.
She leaves behind daughters, Denell "Brad" Gentry, Darcy "Jim" Tillman all of Vancouver, WA. Sons, Jason "Darcy" Glaze of Gardnerville, NV, Scott "Star" Glaze of Carson City, NV.
Grandchildren, Hannah & Jacob Tillman of Vancouver, WA. Colby, Ella & Benjamin Glaze of Gardnerville, NV. Her dogs, Willow, Diego and Stella.
Sandra was born on July 27, 1946 in Erwin,TN to Wesley A. and Ethel Presley.
She is survived by her siblings, Darnell Presley of Prineville,OR. Shirley "Butch" Margeson of Big Lake, AK, Debi "David" Spinella of Vancouver, WA and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, half brother Raymond Presley, sister Dinia Huffman and husband Lawrence Pace.
Sandy enjoyed her family immensely and the friends she met throughout her career working with the DD community for several years. Her compassion and kindness for those she cared for was beyond measure. She touched so many lives over the years and was a true angel. She made many lifelong friends along the way. She had a heart of gold and always wanted to help others if she could. She loved people and they loved her.
After her retirement she and Larry traveled a bit and spent time with their families and road trips with Butch & Shirley. They loved the casinos and enjoyed gardening and decorating their welcoming home spending lots of time with family and friends.
After Larry passed, Sandy spent time staying with her children and their families over the last couple of years. She loved her pups and her new found discovery of "Tik Tok".
She will be missed and remembered fondly by all those who knew her.
Rest in love and peace sweet Momma we love you always.
There will be a "Celebration of Life" on Saturday September 21, 2024 at 12:30 pm in The Chapel with Hospitality to follow at 1:30-2:30 pm
