Sandra Padgett

Sandra Padgett, age 75, of Fairmount, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Tony Green, Rev. Jason Phillips and Rev. Randy Weaver officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherokee Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, August 3rd from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., Friday, August 4th from 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Saturday, August 5th from 9:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.
Sandra loved her family dearly. She was an artist who enjoyed painting and drawing as well as gardening, sewing and playing the piano.
She is survived by her children, Blake Porter (Nancy), David Evan Padgett (Lori) and Leah Padgett; sisters, Kathie Kendall and Bobbie Dunn; brother, Sonny Dunn; 7 grandchildren, Amanda Porter, Jessica Jayko, Brandon Nommensen, Summer Whitaker, Autumn Puckett, Macie Rittenhouse and Jeremy Porter; 6 great-grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Serving as pallbearers are David Waldrop, Danny Waldrop, Richard Dale, Jeremiah Whitaker, Brandon Nommensen, Rodney Hobgood, Austin Jayko and Robert Rittenhouse.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist the family with expenses.
