Sandra Papenhagen Obituary
on Monday, November 13, at The Toledo Hospital surrounded by her family, after a short illness. She is a
lifelong resident of Blissfield and enjoyed every moment.
She is survived by her loving family, children Scott Papenhagen (Ronda), Steven Papenhagen (Peg), and
Angie Papenhagen. Grandchildren Allison Papenhagen, Sydney Papenhagen, Ty Papenhagen (Kelsey),
Morgan McClain (Lane), Chloe Papenhagen, Brock Papenhagen, and Madison Amstutz. Siblings, Mary
Lou Fisher (Robert), Dianne Cory, and Robert Neyrinck (Susan). Also survived by her loving dog Buster.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father Shorty (Albert) and Lucille Neyrinck, and her
husband, Larry Speigel.
Sandy's hobbies included shopping, dining out, and watching her favorite shows, Judge Judy and Dr. Pol.
She loved vacationing with her family, especially at the Silver Lake Sand Dunes. Most of all, Sandra loved
watching her grandkids pursue their passions including many sports, pageants, and animal showing at
the Fair. Win or lose she always knew what to say and was always there to support her family. She loved
sitting on her front porch in her rocking chair watching the seasons change and the residents of
Blissfield. With her tireless support of her children and grandchildren, and her meticulous work for their
businesses, her family will be lost without her.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 19, 2023, at Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield, from 12:00 - 3:00 pm, with a Memorial Service following at 3:00 p.m. Pastor Kenneth Papenhagen officiating. Inurnment will follow at Riga Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Anderson-Rudd Funeral Home, Blissfield.
