Sandra Kay Payne
Mrs. Sandra Kay (Blocker) Payne, 75 of Harrisburg, Arkansas departed this life Wednesday January 4, 2023 at her home. She was born February 15, 1947 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas the daughter of Cecil Blocker Sr. and Mom, Velma (Fleetwood) Howell. Her parents preceded her in death, also one brother, Cecil Blocker Jr., and one sister, Martha. Kay married John Leon Payne on August 22, 1963 and they enjoyed 58 years of marriage before his passing June 7, 2022. She was a homemaker, member of Shell Chapel, enjoyed sewing, canning, quilting, and spending time with family and friends. Kay is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Payne) Patterson of West Memphis, Arkansas, two brothers: Greg and Todd Blocker, three sisters: Marion Wooten, Kathy Blocker, and Emily Conaster, grandchildren: Jacob (Morgan) Patterson, Lauren (William) Rogers, and one great`grandson, John Michael Rogers. Following Cremation, the family will have a Memorial Service at a later date. Arrangements are by Jackson's Funeral Home in Harrisburg, Arkansas.
