Sandra Kay Pella, 78 passed away peacefully at her home in Bluffton, South Carolina on June 1, 2025. Born November 24, 1946, in Piqua Ohio, she is preceded in death by her parents, Frederick James Siler and Kathryn Rosemary Siler, her son James Patrick Patterson, and her three brothers Larry Siler, James Siler and Dennis Siler.
A loving wife, proud mother and grandmother, Sandy's life was a quiet testament to strength, compassion, and beauty in everyday life. She found joy in the simple pleasure – sharing milestone about her children and grandchildren, tending to her garden, cheering for her favorite football team and favorite professional bowlers, sharing her love with animals and spending time at the bowling alley as part of her local league. These were the moments where her spirit truly came through.
Sandy is survived by her husband John Pella, her two daughters Robin Auger (Gary) of Phoenix, AZ and Suzanne Peauroi (Michael) of Copper Canyon, TX and her daughter- in- law Carol Patterson of Peoria, AZ. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one eagerly anticipated great-grandchild on the way.
We honor her life, the path she walked, and the pieces of her that live in all of us.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to, Compassus Hospice, who so lovingly cared for her during her last days.
A private family gathering will be held to celebrate Sandy's life.
