COLONIE - Sandra Ann "Sandy" (Picard) Pulver passed away peacefully, in the comfort of her own home, with family and friends by her side, on Wednesday August 14, 2024. The daughter of the late William Picard, Jr. and Barbara Picard (Vadney).
Sandy was a Graduate of Colonie Central High School Class of 1977. She then attended Memorial Nursing School where she graduated and became a Registered Nurse. She was employed by Albany Medical Hospital for 40 years.
She enjoyed camping, needle point and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, John (Jack) Pulver; sister, Christine West (William); sons, John (Sara) Pulver and William (Jaimie) Pulver; and granddaughters, Sloane and Sadie.
The family wishes to thank the countless staff and nurses from Community Hospice for their care to Sandy through this difficult time.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Sandy's family Sunday, August 18, 2024, at McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 N. Allen St., Albany, N.Y. 12206 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Sandy's Funeral Service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Please enter the funeral home from the rear parking lot entrance only.
