A private memorial service for Sandra Ratliff, 77, of Alvarado, will be held at a later date.
Sandra Ratliff passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025 in Alvarado, Texas. She was born on January 11, 1948 in Gladewater, Texas. Sandra worked as a store manager with Egan Fast Stop for nearly 30 years. She believed in working hard and did just that. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Anglican Church. She was known as being a feisty lady with a giving nature. She enjoyed working jig-saw puzzles, antiquing and baking. Her breads and pies were favorites of her family. Sandra will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents, “Red” Jewel Earnest and Etta Mae Emerson Arp; and brothers, Max Heard, Bubba Arp, and Travis Arp.
Survivors include her son, Sean Ratliff and his wife, Paula; granddaughter, Courtney Ratliff; and a number of nieces, nephews and host of other relatives and friends.
