It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Sandra (Camp) Reeder of Washington Terrace, Utah, on February 25, 2024, at the age of 84 years. Sandra was born on December 27, 1939, in Malad, Oneida County, Idaho, to Waldamere Camp and Nona (Nye) Camp. Her early years were marked by resilience, as vividly remembered in the fire of January 1944, that claimed their family home but also showcased the kindness of strangers that would bolster her faith in humanity.

Sandra's primary educational journey took her, and her family, from Burley, Idaho, to Gooding until her junior year of high school, and then to Murray, Utah until around the middle of the year, then to Sandy, Utah and finished her junior year. Despite the challenges of moving during her teenage years, she found her footing and completed her high school education in Rupert, Idaho. Following graduation, Sandra ventured to Riverside, California, before returning to Utah to pursue a career in cosmetology.

On July 15, 1961, Sandra married Michael Reeder, and together they welcomed five children into the world. Sandra dedicated herself to raising her children, a role she cherished deeply. The Reeder family made their lifelong home in Washington Terrace in 1966, a testament to their enduring love and commitment to each other.

As her youngest child began school, Sandra embarked on a new chapter, pursuing higher education despite her initial reluctance. Supported by her husband, she graduated in 1984 with a degree in English, later finding a fulfilling career with the IRS until her retirement.

Sandra's faith played a central role in her life. She and Mike reconnected with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints early in their marriage, a decision that deeply enriched their family life. Sandra served diligently in various church capacities, leaving a legacy of faith and service.

Sandra is survived by her loving children, Roger (Patricia), Bryant (Lori), Matthew (Marisa), and Kevin (Kathryn); 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She is also remembered by her siblings, Baxter Camp and Diane (Joe) Faigl. Sandra was predeceased by her parents, her husband Michael, her daughter LeAnn Baker, her siblings Geraldine Thornock and Ferguson Camp, and granddaughter Dawn.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Sandra will be laid to rest at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.

Condolences may be shared at below, where Sandra's memory will continue to inspire those she touched.

Sandra's life was a testament to her strength, compassion, and unwavering faith. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her, leaving behind a legacy of love and service that will be cherished forever.

Services will be live-streamed and can be watched by scrolling to the bottom of this obituary page.
