Sandra Richardson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pippin Funeral Home - Camden Wyoming on Jan. 7, 2026.
Sandra (Sweeney) Richardson, age 77, of Camden, DE, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on January 4, 2026.

She is survived by her longtime partner Richard Ross, daughter Tracy Clark (Christopher), sister Diane Williams (Dennis Edwards), niece Angie Rineer (Melissa), and great-nephew Eli Rineer.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Benjamin (Skip) Richardson III, father Floyd Sweeney, mother Frances Palmatary Sweeney, brother-in-law Wayne Williams, father-in-law Benjamin Richardson II, and mother-in-law Isabelle Foster Richardson.

She was a graduate of Dickinson High School and Goldey-Beacom College. She was employed by the State of Delaware as an Administrative Secretary, until her retirement.

She enjoyed trips to Disney World, and more recently monthly game nights with Rick and their neighbors. She always had fun going to concerts and was partial to the Beach Boys. She liked shopping with Diane, spending holidays and birthday celebrations with her family, and taking care of her cats. She was delighted to be a part of Tracy and Chris's recent wedding.

Her family would like to thank Delaware Hospice.

Family and friends are invited to a service and celebration of Sandi's life on Sunday, January 11th, 2026 at 4pm at the Clubhouse (1 Paynters Way) in Barclay Farms in Camden, DE.
