Sandra K. Rupert

Sandra K. Rupert, age 80, of Piqua, OH passed away on Wednesday February 11, 2026, at her home in Piqua. She was born in Piqua, Ohio on December 24,1945 to the late Glenn and Dorothy (Smith) Willis. Sandra married her husband Jerry Rupert on July 1,1993, in Troy, Ohio and he preceded her in death on March 22,2016.

Sandra was a fun, kind, and beautiful soul; she will be deeply missed and forever remembered. She is survived by four children: Leslie Lewis, Piqua, OH; Wayne (April) Bowser, Troy, OH; Angela Bowser, Huber Heights, OH; Jerry (Rachael) Bowser, Sidney, OH; three siblings: Kathy (Linda) Willis, Piqua, OH; Charles "Chuck" Willis, Piqua, OH; Glenn (Sonny) Willis, Chillicothe, OH; eleven grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren and one great -great grandchild. Sandra was preceded in death by her ex-husband: Jerry Bowser, one brother: Glenn Willis, Jr., one sister: Debra Stephens, one granddaughter: Jessica Cook, and one great granddaughter: Jenna Cook.

Sandra graduated from Miami East High School with the class of 1963. She enjoyed many things, and she had fun winning at anything she played, such as a good game of Bingo, shooting pool, and visiting Las Vegas to make a good gamble, she also liked watching a good soap opera in the afternoons.

Funeral Services will be held to honor the life of Sandra at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 17,2026 at Melcher Sowers Funeral Home, with Chaplain Ric Johnson officiating. Burial to immediately follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Piqua, OH. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm -2:00 pm prior to service at the funeral home.
