Sandra Moreno "Sandy" Sablatura

Sandra "Sandy" Luz Moreno Sablatura, 61, of El Campo, passed away on February 20, 2026. She was born on May 14, 1964 in Corpus Christi. Sandy worked in the service department at VonDerAu Ford in El Campo.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years, Tim Sablatura of El Campo; mother, Enriqueta Guerra Moreno; sisters, Yolanda Avila and Betty Garza, both of Houston; brother, Rene "Sonny" Moreno of Houston and numerous nieces and nephews.

Sandy was preceded in death by her father, Rene Moreno.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 26 at Triska Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. on Thursday at St. Robert's Catholic Church with a Rosary recited at 2:30 p.m. The funeral Mass will begin at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Philip Brune officiating.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Orsak, Allen Orsak, Keith Orsak, Scott Thomas, Robert Garza, John Avila and Isaac Moreno. Honorary pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations in memory of Sandy may be made to Wharton County Cares or Wharton County SPOT.
