Sandra J. Shaver

Sandra J. Shaver (Clayton), 74, passed away Monday, December 29, 2025, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.

Born in Point Pleasant, NJ, on June 30, 1951, Sandy grew up in the Manasquan area and was a proud graduate of Manasquan High School, Class of 1969. She spent most of her adult life in the Jamesburg & Monroe Township area where she built a home and raised her family.

Sandy found joy in painting, crossword puzzles, and word searches. She was also often engrossed in Crime stories, The food Network, and the heartwarming comfort of the Hallmark Channel.

Sandy is survived by her children: her daughter Barbara Rago and husband Fred of Milltown, NJ; and her son Alan Clayton and wife Kyley of Grand Blanc, Michigan. She is also survived by her stepsister Leslie of Virginia.

Mom-Mom (Grandma) will be deeply missed by her eight grandchildren and one great-grandson: Jesenia, Freddy, Joseph, Dylan, Heather, Michael, Anthony, Vincent, and Noah.

Her love extended to her bonus daughters April and Jessica and her loving niece Jessie, who all loved and cared for her deeply.

Sandy was pre-deceased by her husband Eugene; sisters: Virginia, Betty Lou, Dotty, Barbara, Nancy; and brothers: Robert & Alfred.
