Sandra Lee Sides

Sandra Lee Sides, age 63, passed away peacefully at her home on June 9, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family.
Sandra was a devoted wife, mother, Nana, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her beloved husband of 44 years, Eldon Sides; her daughter, Becky Sides; and her cherished grandchildren, Riley and Olivia, who brought endless joy to her life.
Sandra also leaves behind her sister-in-law, Julie Pierce (Gary); her great-niece, Cerina Smith (Stetson); her nephew, Allen Pierce, Brandon Sides; and her niece, Jennifer Pierce (Jena), Lottie Sides; sister in law, Connie Sides; great nephew, Grayson and Kaelab
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, John Cecil and Nelda Lee; brother in law, Michael Sides.
She will be remembered for the deep love she had for her family-especially her grandbabies-and for her passion for old cars. To those who knew her, Sandra was the very heart of the family: steady, loving, and endlessly generous.
She will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts.
Funeral services will take place at Carbon Hill Methodist Church located at 178 4th Ave NW Carbon Hill, AL on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 6:00 pm. A visitation will be held in the church 2 hours prior to service time. Brother Krel Buckelew & Brother John Verciglio will officiate. Burial will take place at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fayette. There will be no grave side services.
