Sandra Slaughter, age 78, passed away on November 15, 2025, in Tifton, GA. She was born on August 16, 1947, to the late Hayward and Elsie Roberson in Thomasville, GA.
A devoted mother and grandmother, Sandra cherished her family above all and was known for her nurturing spirit. She loved working in her yard and tending to her flower garden, where she found solace and joy. A retired LPN, she dedicated her life to helping others and had a profound love for animals, enjoying caring for her beloved pets.
Sandra is survived by her children, Tiffany Jordan (Jessie) of Tifton, Rick Slaughter (Kay) of Pelham, and Wade Slaughter (Lisa) of Pelham, along with her grandchildren: Jade Jordan, Andrew Slaughter, Caitlin Slaughter, and Jadon Slaughter. She will also be missed by her sisters, Yvonne Powell (Earl) of Thomasville and Diane Wood of Pavo, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Buddy Slaughter. No services will be held at this time. Donations may be made in Sandra's memory to the Thomas County Humane Society.
