Sandra Sparks Sprinkle

Asheville – Sandra Elaine Sparks Sprinkle, 80, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at her home while surrounded by family.
A native of Mitchell County, she resided in Buncombe County most of her life. She was a daughter of the late Avery and Oleta Duncan Sparks, and was also preceded in death by her son, David Larry Sprinkle, II.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of over 62 years, Rev. D. Larry Sprinkle; son, Stephen Scott Sprinkle and wife Ericka; granddaughters: Kennedy Sprinkle, and Avery Sprinkle; brother, David Sparks and wife Libby; special cousin, Karen Sprinkle; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at Victory Baptist Church, 80 Olivette Rd, Asheville, NC 28804, with her husband, Rev. D. Larry Sprinkle and her son, Rev. Stephen Scott Sprinkle officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 till 2 PM at the church.
The Sprinkle family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Four Seasons Hospice for their exceptional care and support given to Mrs. Sprinkle and her family.
