Sandra Ann Subia

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that I, share the news of the passing of my beloved mother. She departed peacefully, surrounded by the comforting presence of her son and grandson. A memorial service will be held by the family on Friday, January 16 at 2 P.M. at Primera Inglesia Bautista at 709 S Alameda Street. No visitation will be held as cremation has taken place.

She was preceded in rest by her devoted husband, Alfonso Subia; her parents, Jose Orona Sr. and Martina Orona; her eldest son, Michael Orona; her brothers, Jose Orona Jr. and Michael Orona; and her sisters, Celina Orona, Cecilia Flores, and Yolanda Mireles.

Her legacy of love and warmth will be deeply cherished by her surviving family: her son, Mark Biscaino Sr.; her cherished grandsons, Mark Anthony Biscaino Jr. and Micoray Orona; and her beloved sister, Alice Orona. She also leaves behind her four loyal and adored canine companions, Chula, Lulu, Tonto, and Wedo, who brought her immense joy. Additionally, her memory will be held dear by numerous nephews and nieces.

Our mother was renowned for her boundless generosity and her passion for hospitality. Her home was a haven where she joyfully shared her culinary talents, delighting all who visited with delicious meals, especially her unforgettable homemade tortillas. Her warm spirit and open heart touched countless lives, and she will be profoundly missed by her many friends and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
