Sandra ("Sandy") Costello Taylor, age 67 of Houston entered into eternal rest on December 28, 2025. Sandy was born April 1, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Leon and Bonnie Jean.
She moved to Texas as a teenager where she was settled and was married. Sandra's pride and joy were her children Tamara and Samuel and grandchildren Josephine and John Carter. Sandy will be dearly missed by her family and friends and will be remembered for her beauty, bravery, strength, kindness, sense of humor, and charm.
Sandy is preceded in death by her Spouse, Anthony Costello, Spouse, Everett Lee Taylor, Father, Leon Carter, Mother, Bonnie Jean Hildabrand, Sister, Cheryl Jean Hildabrand, Brother, Garland Freyman, Sister, Connie Hager, Brother, Jack Carter.
She is survived by her beloved family which includes, Four Brothers, Val Tetrick, Le Wade Bufford Carter, Edward Vaughn Carter, Vincent Carter; Three Sisters, Linda Rohwer, Vicki Harak, Valerie Knouse; Daughter, Tamara Costello Machado (John); Son, Samuel Joshua Carter; Granddaughter, Josephine Edelia Machado; Grandson, John Carter Machado.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, 10:00 am at Felix H. Morales Funeral Home - Central.
Committal Service will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
