June 14, 1960 – January 6, 2026

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sandi Taylor. Sandi was a lifelong resident of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on January 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on June 14, 1960, Sandi was the ultimate fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes. Her loyalty to the scarlet and gray was a constant in her life-a passion she shared with everyone she knew especially her son. Sandi's greatest pride and legacy was the large, vibrant family she built. She was a pillar of strength for her children: Cheryl (Jimmy) Huntley, Angela (Chad) Charles, Billy (Brittannie) Taylor, and Stephanie (Jason) Mason. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Taylor (Alex) Askew, Kendall (Gavin) Huntley, Abbigayle Taylor, Emma Taylor, Braxton Taylor, Gabrielle Charles, and Camryn Charles, Morgan (Jay) Ferrell, Luke (Raelynn) Mason, and Kane (Amanda) Mason. She was also cherished byher many great-grandchildren; Elliott Askew, Jayse, Karsyn, Mia, Kash, and Mylee Ferrell, Lyla and Elaina Mason. Sandi is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Bill Taylor, brother, Jeremy Madden, and her beloved sister-in-law, Brenda St. Clair, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Mary Madden; step mother Margie Casto-Madden; her brother, Joseph Madden Jr.; daughter, Gretchen Taylor and granddaughter Zoe Taylor.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026 at the MYERS-WOODYARD Funeral Home 587 Main St. Groveport, Columbus, OH 43125. Services will follow at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 15th, 2026. Burial will follow at Obetz Cemetery.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers please donate to the Franklin County Dog Shelter.
