Sandra L. "Sandy" Urich, age 81, passed away peacefully at her home in Carter Lake on April 29, 2025.

She was born January 21, 1944, to the late John D. "Dale" and Mary Ann (Forsythe) Lesley in Omaha, NE. Sandy graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School with the class of 1962. She was a longtime waitress, working at Rose's Lodge, Cascio's Steakhouse and then retired from the Omaha Country Club.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Urich; and brother, David Lesley.

Sandy is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Charles & Laurie Urich and Alan & Paula Urich; daughter, Julie Urich; siblings, Terry (Georgianna) Lesley and Dana (Laurie) Lesley; sister-in-law, Linda Lesley, Joyce Lesley, and Marie Lesley; grandchildren, Kevin Urich, Kyle (Jacy) Urich, and Dillon (Brittany) Urich, Erich Hilske, and Lindsay Urich; great grandchildren, Maxine Urich and Maren Urich; beloved dogs, Lucy and Poppy; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Viewing and visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Friday, May 02, 2025. In lieu of plants or flowers, please direct memorials to the Carter Lake Volunteer Fire Department.
