Sandra Vorachek, 88, passed away surrounded by family on December 8, 2025. She was born on August 1, 1937, to her late parents Edward and Marie (Luedtke) Christensen.
She was born and raised in the Fox Valley, graduating from Menasha High School. She met her late husband Donald Vorachek in high school and married right after graduation. Together they raised 5 children.
Sandra was a mom to all. She adored family and being able to be a part of their lives. She was also Mom to her kids’ friends. She was also proud to be grandma. In her free time, she loved to sew. She made all of the kids’ clothing, Halloween costumes, and even the toy dolls clothes. She enjoyed Wheel of Fortune, the cooking network, and being crafty.
She is survived by her children: David (Beth) Vorachek, Karen (Mike Van Toll) Vorachek, Teri (Wael) Rashidi, Dan Vorachek; grandchildren: Shereen (Jake) Bishop, Megan Meyer, Vincent Vorachek, Amanda (Mike Rohde) Borgwardt, Nic (Sam) Borgwardt, Ashley Vorachek, and Cora (Nic) Dutter; great grandchildren: Sara, Nolan, Logan, Autumn, Aubree, Hadley, Alice, Ashton, Bella, Evelyn, Miles; sister Sharon Wierschke, and extended family.
Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, parents, son Donald Scott Vorachek, grandson Adam.
Per Sandra’s wishes, there will be no formal service. There will be a Memorial Mass at a later time.
The family would like to express a special thank you to the 7th floor staff at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.
