Scott Allen Kositzke, of Sturgeon Bay, WI, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Scott was born on May 28,1969 in Neenah. He was the middle child of Dennis and Sandra Kositzke and lived in Menasha throughout his childhood. He graduated from Menasha High School and attended University of Wisconsin - Oshkosh and Green Bay.
A summer job at the White Gull Inn in Fish Creek led Scott into a hospitality career. He learned every aspect of the business and rose to General Manager of the Inn. Along the way he made countless friends within his “business family” and the guests of the Inn. He was beloved by many.
Scott married his wife, Lisa Langenkamp, 20 years ago while working in Door County. They have been together for 27 years, living in Fish Creek initially and then Sturgeon Bay. Scott was easy-going and always willing to help whomever he could. He was an avid golfer and spent as many days on the golf course as possible. Although it was never enough. Scott was kind, patient and gracious, always with a smile on his face. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Besides Lisa, he is survived by his dad, Dennis Kositzke (Menasha), brothers Brian and Craig (Menasha) as well as sister-in law Kristina Langenkamp (Milwaukee), brother-in-law Jeff (Robin) Langenkamp (Green Bay), nieces MacKenzie Brunette and Alexis Brunette and many friends and extended family. Scott also leaves behind his beloved dogs, Brie and Stella.
Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Kositzke and in-laws Mary and Don Langenkamp.
Visitation will take place at Cotter Funeral Home in De Pere, WI on Monday, December 8th from 9:30am to noon followed by a memorial service at noon. Memorials to the Door County Land Trust will be very much appreciated in lieu of flowers.
The family wishes to thank the ICU staff at Aurora BayCare Medical Center for their exceptional caregiving and the UW transplant team for making Scott’s organ donation wishes a reality.
May his memory be a blessing……
