Sandra Marie Watley, 75, of Valdosta, died on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Coffee Regional following a period of declining health. She was born on September 19, 1949, in Savannah to the late Raymond H. and Nora Lee Sherouse Carter. She retired from the City of Valdosta after 35 years, serving in the financial department and was a member of Dasher Church of Christ. Mrs. Watley was also a MaryKay Beauty Consultant for nearly 32 years.
Mrs. Watley is survived by her daughter, Michelle Musgrove of Valdosta; a son and daughter-in-law, Jamie and Leighann Watley of Hahira; a bonus daughter, Faith Ann Plymel of Valdosta; her grandchildren, Jarrett L. Musgrove, Megan Musgrove, Dalton and Jacey Watley, Mackenzie Watley, Haley Godwin, Mackenzie Hagen and Brandon Hagen; great-grandchildren, Addisyn Corbett, Macyn Corbett, Aiden Watley, Lydia Musgrove, Bryson Musgrove, Nola Watley and Cameron Watley; her sister, June Randolph; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her husband, James H. Watley
Services for Sandra Watley will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at the McLane Riverview Memorial Gardens Pavilion at 11 a.m. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 5-7 p.m. at the McLane Lakewood Funeral Home in Lake Park.
