Sandra L. Williams, age 72, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025, at her home. She was born on November 23, 1952, to Richard and Betty (Ruiter) Harkema and was a lifelong resident of the Muskegon area. Sandy worked at numerous restaurants, but retired from Herbie's Cafe in 2023. She was enamored with her grandchildren and loved to spend her free time with her family. She was an avid reader and loved gardening and bird watching. On June 8, 1972, she married Robert T. Williams, Jr., and he preceded her in death on April 22, 2022. SURVIVORS include two daughters, Elizabeth (Duane Ward) Fergison and Andrea (Scott) Idsinga; grandchildren, Riley, Coraline, Bella, Addison, Destiny and Caitlyn; Siblings, Wayne (Vicki) Harkema, Joyce Elmore, Bonnie (John) Ulmer; sibling-in-laws, Patricia (Robert) McNeal, Linda (Jack) Workman, James (Lori) Williams along with many nieces and nephews. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents, in-laws, Robert and Alwilda (Shepard) Williams; granddaughter, Alisa Love Idsinga; brother, Kris Harkema; sister-in-law, Sharon Northrup; sister Faye (Gary) Bollenbach; and brother-in-law John Elmore.

According to her wishes, cremation has taken place, and the family is planning a memorial gathering in the spring of 2026. Arrangements by The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
