Donald Williams

Donald Sylvester Williams, born on a beautiful winter day in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica, on January 29, 1955, lived his life with a quiet strength that shone through in his every interaction. His life journey came full circle on October 20, 2025, in the peaceful surroundings of his home in Woodbury, New Jersey. Donald, affectionately known as Danny, lived a life that was truly his own. As Robert Louis Stevenson said, "Don't judge each day by the harvest you reap but by the seeds that you plant." This quote defined Donald's life. He may not have been employed in a traditional sense, but the seeds he planted through his love, wisdom, and kindness have blossomed into a rich legacy that will live on.

Donald's life was enriched by his loving family. He is survived his son, Dante Williams, his daughter in law, Nichola Williams, his grandsons, Dante Williams Jr. & Jeremiah Williams, his great grandsons, Dante III & K'isen, his brother, Franklyn, and his Aunt Beverly. Each of these individuals played a significant role in shaping and enriching Donald's life. As a son, father, grandfather, brother, and nephew, Donald's kindness and compassion were always at the forefront. He had a special bond with each member of his family, and his memory lives on in their hearts. Donald was preceded in death by his loving mother, Estelle Johnson Barrett. Her memory was a beacon of light and love in his life.
