Cochran – Sandra Reeves Wynne, age 85, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2025, in the Bleckley Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 12, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. in the chapel of Mathis Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 2:00 P.M. until time for the service Sunday at Mathis Funeral Home. Burial will be private in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sandra, a lifelong resident of Bleckley County, was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Marie Dixon Reeves. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Evelyn Stayer, Myrtle Bryant, Lois Yearty, Ellen Johnston and Bobbie Powell and her brothers, Wendell Reeves and Charles Reeves. Sandra was a graduate of Cochran High School, retired from Robins Air Force Base in 2019 and had worked for State Bank of Cochran, Cook-Davis Furniture and Jiles Equipment Company. She was a member of Union Hill Baptist Church.

Sandra loved to cook for her family and especially for her granddaughters, Eryn and Janna. She would always cook anything they liked or wanted but they always enjoyed her famous brunswick stew, cream corn and homemade baked beans. Sandra never showed up to a table without a gallon of her good ole fashioned sweet tea!

Survivors are her husband, William Harvey Wynne of Cochran; her daughters, Tammy (Mike) Reid and Audrey (Steve) Brown all of Cochran; her granddaughters, Eryn (Hunter) Prim of Adel, Iowa and Janna (Paul) Baker of Athens; her great grandchildren, Jaxson Prim, Grayson Prim, Briana Baker and Brooklyn Baker; her brother, Neil (Gloria) Reeves of Cochran; several nieces and nephews.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Bleckley Memorial Hospital, Bryant Health and Rehab and Georgia Hospice Care for all their compassionate care.
