Sandus Orio Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
He was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Anthony Santo Orio and Mary Virginia (Falbo) Orio.
He is also predeceased by his beloved wife Anita (Guido) Orio and his brother Robert Orio.
Sandus leaves behind his cherished children Gina LaChaussee and her husband Charles of Middletown, Marc Orio and his wife Angell of Middletown and Lisa Dodd and her husband Jeff of Connecticut and his loving grandchildren Matthew Orio, Alyssa Orio, Rachel Weber and Jeff Weber.
He was a high school graduate and attended the City College of New York.
Sandus proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War Conflict from 1950-1951.
He worked as the Operations Manager of the Computer Data Finance Center at Citibank's headquarters in Manhattan.
Friends and relatives are invited to a visitation for Sandus on Wednesday November 12, 2025 at Day Funeral Home 361 Maple Place Keyport, New Jersey 07735 from 9:00AM to 10:00 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM at St. Benedict's RC Church of Holmdel.
Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery of Middle Village, Queens.
