Sandy Clifton Obituary
Sandy Dahl "Pops" Clifton, 82, of Whiteville, died on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, H.E. Clifton, and Brina Beatrice Turner Clifton; his wife, Donna Jean Peterson Clifton, and his brother, Charles Clifton.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Worthington Funeral Home. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Surviving family includes his children, Richard Dahl Clifton (Incha) of Korea, Edward Earl Clifton, Sr. (Annie) of the home and Brian Thomas Clifton (Holly) of Holden Beach; five grandchildren, Edward Earl Clifton, Jr., Brianna Noel Walter, Aaron Clifton, Melinda Stone, Madison Priest; eight great-grandchildren, Theo Walter, Mason Clifton, Tanner Clifton, Henry Clifton, Hazelynn Priest, Elijah Stone, Jacoby Stone, Rosalie Stone; siblings, Doug Clifton (Mary Helen) of Leland, Randy Clifton of Fayetteville; several loving nieces and nephews.
