Sandy Denney Obituary
Sandy was born on October 13, 1955, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter James and Louise (Anderson) Denney. She attended school in Jay County before living in a group home in New Castle for over 30 years. In the last 3 plus years she was a resident of Albany Health and Rehab. While at Albany, Sandy loved to visit the staff and other residents. She also loved taking friends out to eat and shop. Her favorite holiday was Halloween and watching reruns of Sammy Terry on the TV.
Survivors include:
Brother: Robert Denney (Wife Donna)
Sister: Rebecca El Bendary Tennessee
Nieces: Sheila Scully (Husband Joshua)
Heather Denney Portland, IN
Ameana Busic (Husband Casey) Tennessee
Nephew Clay Denney Portland, IN
Several Great nieces and nephews
Visitation will be held Friday from 1-2 p.m. at Williamson-Spencer and Penrod Funeral Home in Portland. Funeral services will follow at 2p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Pastor Herb Hummel will officiate and burial will follow at Green Park cemetery.
Memorials may be directed towards Gideon's International.
