Sandy Elaine Holt, age 72, a cherished mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this world on February 3, 2025, at Fairfield Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on April 22, 1952, Sandy filled the lives of those around her with warmth, joy, and an irresistible kindness that touched the hearts of everyone she met.
After attending Canal Winchester Schools, Sandy found her true calling at Tu Doc Farms, where she worked with horses and dedicated her life to caring for animals. Her deep love for horses, dogs, and kitties reflected her nurturing spirit, and she approached each day with a genuine desire to better her world. While her career brought her fulfillment, it was her role as a grandmother and great grandmother that brought her the deepest joy. Sandy's proudest accomplishments were her family, especially the cherished memories she created with her grandchildren, Cody (Ashley Heery) Mount and Christopher Iordanov, and her great-grandchildren, Kennedy Mount and Lily Iordanov.
As a daughter of Connie and Danny Alspaugh, Sandy was raised with love, and she carried those values throughout her life. She leaves behind a loving daughter, Stephanie Tippett, and a devoted son, Shayne Tippett. Sandy is also survived by her dear sister, Jany Alspaugh, and brother, Scott Alspaugh, as well as a sister-in-law, Pat Stumbo. Her legacy of love continues through several nieces and nephews, including but not limited to Brandy (Justin) Roby, Ellie and Rylann Roby, Kesley (Josh Bevard) Alspaugh, and Zach (Macy Adams) Alspaugh and several cousins.
Sandy was truly a homebody at heart, yet her compassionate soul made her a constant source of support for those around her. She enjoyed being there to lend a generous helping hand, welcoming friends and family into her life with open arms and a smile that could light up a room. It was easy to see how her delightful personality won countless hearts, as she dedicated herself to making the world a better place for everyone.
She is reunited in eternal peace with those who left us too soon including her loving husband of 44 years, Tim Holt, her wonderful parents, Connie and Danny Alspaugh, her parents-in-law, Richard and June Holt, her brothers-in-law, Phil Stumbo and Leroy Holt, and her beloved canine companions, Sully and Blondie.
Though Sandy Elaine Holt may no longer be physically present among us, the love she nurtured and the joy she shared will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know her.
