Sanford D. Prude Jr., 42, of Akron, passed away on January 13, 2026. He was born on February 5, 1983 the son of Sanford D. Prude Sr and Roberta Fields. He enjoyed playing basketball with friends. Sanford was known among his family for his famous "Mac and Cheese". He always brightened up a room with his infectious smile and laugh and his sense of humor.
Sanford is survived by his father Sanford D. (Theresa) Prude Sr.; mother Roberta Fields; wife Amy Prude; 3 children; 12 siblings; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 24th, from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (131 N. Canton Rd., Akron 44305) where services will be held at 2:00pm.
