Santa Matthews, 94, of Staten Island, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. Born on December 25, 1930, here on Staten Island, Santa lived a long and beautiful life filled with love and devotion to her family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Preston Matthews and the cherished mother & grand mother of 5 generations. Mother of John and Philip Matthews. Proud grandmother of five, Donna Matthews Borejko and husband Chris, Philip Matthews (PJ)and wife Carolyn,Devin Killian, Ryan and Seth Matthews.Great-grandmother of five Britney, Ryan, Ava, Joseph & Michael and great-great-grandmother Gracie.She also leaves behind her dear nieces and nephews, Christopher and wife Stacey,Steven and wife Betty, and Denise and husband Lance children of her late sister.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Hanley Funeral Home on New Dorp Lane on Monday, October 27th, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
