Santos Alicea - Colon Obituary
Sergeant Major Santos Alicea-Colon, 84, also known as Tito, was born on April 11, 1941 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico to parents Oscar Alicea and Felicita Colon. He passed away with his wife at bedside on December 8, 2025 in San Antonio, Texas. He served over 34 years in the U.S. Army. He has received decorated medals for heroic valor in both Korean and Vietnam Wars. He spent most of his days outside working on his 57 Chevrolet's and had a love for the outdoors. He also enjoyed playing pool. Tito is survived by his wife, Carmen Colon; 3 daughters, Nydia Alicea, Eli Pierce, Daymis Alicea; 1 son, Luis Alicea; 1 brother, Eusebio Alicea; 3 sisters, Carmen Lydia Alicea, Sixta Alicea, Petra Alicea; 7 grandchildren, Robert Anthony, Jordan, Alexis, Analisa, Yasmin, Yareli; 2 great grandchildren, Liam and Leonidas. He was preceded in death by his late brothers Primitivo and Pedro Alicea. He will be greatly missed.
Viewing will be held at: FuneralCaringUSA 2621 Mossrock, San Antonio Texas, 78230 on December 17, 2025 at 12 p.m.-4 p.m. Rosary will begin at 1 p.m.
Burial will be at: Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78209 on December 18, 2025 at 10:15 a.m.
