Sara Blanton Obituary
Spartanburg, SC
Sara Louise Magill Blanton passed away on Monday, September 18, 2023. Born in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Emil "Mack" and Sadie Anderson Magill. She was retired from Spartanburg County Mapping Department. Sara was a member of Faith Independent Baptist Church and was a former member of Free Chapel in Spartanburg.
Survivors include her daughter, Claire B. Owings and husband, Rev. Michael Owings; and two granddaughters, Rachel Owings and Rebecca Owings. She was predeceased by a brother, John Magill.
Memorial services will be held at 3PM on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the Stribling Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Owings officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2PM until 3PM, prior to the service.
