Sara Reece Obituary
Sara Elizabeth Reece, 86, wife of Kenneth George Reece, died on April 27, 2025.
Born in Monticello, GA, she was the daughter of the late Carroll Longfellow Hodge and Evelyn Essie Moore Hodge and sister to the late Marie Lewis and Judith Hodge. Mrs. Reece had worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta in the Accounting Department and was a member of Athens First United Methodist Church.
Survivors in addition to her husband Ken include her daughter Kimberly Lynne (Tony) Combahee.
A memorial service celebrating Mrs. Reece’s life will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 11AM at Lord and Stephens East Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
