I had recently moved down to Florida leaving behind my primary care provider of many years, thinking, I'll never find another Dr I will ever trust and feel so open with! My first doctor I had an appointment with here was a fiasco. I finally got a referral for Dr. Sara and it was a five month wait to see her...but the moment we met I knew why the wait was so long. And I knew also I had absolutely found another angel Dr to help guide, treat, encourage and support me! While I only had the privilege of knowing Dr Sara for two years she left a lifelong impression. I was devastated to learn of her passing - so my heart goes out to her family and friends while loved her dearly. The world is better because of her!

Sara was a sweet, wonderful soul with a long history in our local dance community.
I met Sara almost 20 years ago...
I remember taking my first silver waltz group class at Melbourne Ballroom. Lance Sexton was teaching continuity style and I felt overwhelmed with the transition from bronze. I distinctly remember meeting Sara in that class. Over the ensuing weeks/months, Sara took the time to practice with me and help bring me up to speed.
I also remember dancing with her at many dance socials and cheering her on at showcases.
I also remember how proud she said she was of her daughter who worked in the gaming industry and her grandchild.
Sara you will be missed!

I worked side-by-side with Doctor Sara Switzer for a past 22+ years. It was August 1998 when I first made contact with her via a phone call to interview for a job as a physician in the urgent care/internal medicine setting. After spending about 20 to 30 minutes on the phone I immediately knew, Dr. Switzer, and I would make a great partnership in the care of patients. She was an extraordinarily knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate person in the art and science of medicine. She taught me innumerable pearls and lessons in patient care. We worked in harmony and mutual respect for each other over the years . She will be greatly missed by myself and everyone who knew her. The wisdom she imparts on me over time is too exhaustive to list in this forum. She is truly one of the greatest physician of our modern times.

Most of all my condolences to Dr. Switzer´s family. She cared for my mom for many years until she passed. She was my physician as well. She was such a caring and beautiful soul, always taking as much time as necessary to treat your illness. Her compassion and devotion to her profession were exemplary. They just don´t make doctors like her anymore. What a lovely woman and such a loss to all who knew and loved her. My sister and I are forever in her debt for her kindness to our mom. I found out this angel left us in a very odd way and was shocked like so many. She had been my doctor off and on for years because of the ins. changes. Just this year I deliberately maneuvered all my insurance around so she could be my doctor again! She was that bright and rare light. You felt her genuine concern and gentleness. I wish every doctor was like her. I don't like when someone so beautiful in their spirit leaves us because we truly feel that void. I have to believe that because of her, so many of us were touched and saw how we should treat one another. We were all captivated by her heart that radiated to each of us. I am grateful I had the opportunity to meet her.

She was caring for my father-in-law. She was so sweet, kind, caring and considerate and appreciated his semi-crude jokes when he flirted with her. She has been my doctor for decades. As a nurse and patient, I so appreciated her kindness. I was shocked to hear of her passing. I really enjoyed meeting with her, it was a friendship. She was always beautiful and smiling.

This is double-dipping, as I posted an earlier condolence. While my mother was alive, she had a concerning symptom, so I drove her to the walk-in clinic in Cocoa Beach back when Dr. Switzer was one of the docs there. My mother said in one sentence what her symptom was, and Dr. Switzer knew right off the bat what was wrong and called Cape Canaveral Hospital to set up an immediate CT scan. The condition was serious, required admission right away and a surgery shortly after. My mom lived for 2-1/2 years more beyond that. Dr. S. was a walking encyclopedia.

Dr. Sara Switzer is my Aunt Sally. We call her Sally, because there are three generations of Sara´s in our family, me being one of them. She´s my mother´s youngest sister. We are all still in shock, but know that she´s surrounded by music, family, her pets, and dancing away on a beach. I have so many wonderful memories of Aunt Sally, it´s hard to choose one to share. When we all got together for Christmas, my mother, Aunt Sally, Aunt Carolyn, and Maw-Maw would be cook a beautiful Southern feast at her parents´ house in MS. I could always hear them laughing and talking very loudly while us kids played nearby. My mother always said I´m like Aunt Sally. We love to the same things, such as shopping, dancing, music, we also have similar style, and enjoy being creative. We´d go shopping every time we got together and Aunt Sally always picked out one fun adventure to go on. I will miss hearing her voice, seeing her smile, and enjoying life. I love you, Aunt Sally. You are always in my heart.

I just called the office on Friday the 10th & was shocked to learn of Dr. Switzer's passing! I really enjoyed her being my doctor. Dr. Switzer was always so helpful. Dr. Switzer was the sweetest person ever. Her delivery of care was equal parts art and science. My heart broke today when I received the news of her sudden passing. She carried me through many serious health hurdles with her trademark smile, kindness, empathy, and good care. My first visit with Dr Switzer was in urgent care. She was so interested in getting to know me and not just treat my symptoms. The office was packed full with people waiting to see her but that didn´t prevent her from wanting to address any other concerns I had apart from what I came in for. She was a r e a l physician, a Doctor´s Dr... you "mattered" to Dr Switzer.

She always greeted me with a big beautiful smile, listened compassionately for as long as it took, and actually seemed to know what was in my medical chart. She has been my dr. For years. I am just overwhelmed by her loss. She was always kind and patient and i just loved her as she always took the time to talk and just be her. Made you feel like her very own. I will miss her always. She made me laugh when i was discussing my sore knees and she told me about her ballroom dancing and what she used and when she bought the Mercedes, I saw her driving it one day and told her how it really suited her and she laughed and said " it's used" and we both chuckled, but she looked good in it for sure. I loved her so much.
