Sara E. Telencio

Sara E. (Mueller) Telencio, 86, formerly of Camp Hill, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown.
Sara was born October 10, 1938, in Harrisburg, PA, the daughter of the late Andrew and Sara (Zimmerman) Mueller. She married the love of her life John "Jack" Telencio, Jr. on September 1, 1956. He preceded her in death on October 3, 2000.
She was a proud graduate of Camp Hill High School Class of 1956 and a graduate of the Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Maryland, obtaining her registered nursing degree. Her nursing career spanned 40 years, retiring from the commonwealth as a state surveyor of nursing homes.
Sara was a member of the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church, where she was very active. She also volunteered with hospice, played Bridge, was a great piano player, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Sara is survived by her daughter Sara Elizabeth Nauman of Jamestown, California, her son Mark Telencio and his wife Cathy of Adrian, Michigan, eight grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren, and her sister Etta Mae Murdock residing in Florida.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Sara was preceded in death by a son John Telencio and a sister Andra Moretta.
A memorial service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, April 4, 2025, in the Camp Hill Presbyterian Church, 101 N. 23rd Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011, with Rev. Donald Potter, officiating.
The burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in New Cumberland.
