Sara Heer "Sally" Voss

Sally, loving mother, grandmother, and sister graduated to Heaven on March 19, 2025. Sally was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to the Late Mark James Heer and Catharine Rebecca Rudisill on December 10, 1934. She enjoyed her last years with family in Greenville, SC.
She is preceded to Heaven by Lee Pearson Voss. They were married on June 18, 1960. They set an example of Christian love, faith, and guidance. Serving in many leadership roles at churches they attended. She continued that in women's Bible study groups as she began to slow down in life. Her faith was shared daily in the way she lived.
Sally worked for TWA (Trans World Airlines) for 30 years. Family trips to visit relatives and explore new places were a part of her life. During retirement, Sally and Lee traveled with friends to Europe, took cruises, but always prioritized time to spend with their children and their families.
Sally was a member of the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Joyce Scott Chapter. She enjoyed sharing family history with her daughter, son and grandchildren.
Sally's creativity was shared with others as she made quilts, hosted dinners and holiday gatherings, and most recently - loved making cards to encourage and share sunshine with those around her.
Sally is survived by daughter, Cathy and her husband, Bob; son, Jim and his wife Melissa; brother, Fred and his wife, Susie; grandson, Chris and his wife Brittany; grandson, Michael; granddaughter, Katie; grandson, Adam; great-grandson, Belikin; and nephew, Noah.
The family would like to express gratitude to Interim HealthCare Hospice staff and Rolling Green Village Health Care staff for the loving care they provided during the past year and her transition to Heaven.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held April 5, 2025, at 11:00 at Rolling Green Village - Blue Ridge Room D. 3 Hoke Smith Boulevard, Greenville, SC 29615.
