Sara Patricia (Patti) Williams, age 98, long time Westerville resident, passed away May 23, 2025 at home. Retired from State of Ohio Department of Taxation and formerly employed by Dayton YMCA. Graduate of Westerville High School and The Ohio State University with a BS Degree in Social Work. She was a Charter member of Thespian Troupe #513, Social Chairman of her High School class of 1944 and a cheerleader. An active member of Church of the Master UMC, Westerville Dance Club, Square Dancers, PTA President of Whittier, Walnut Springs and Westerville High School, Leader of Camp Fire Girls, League of Women Voters and Westerville Library. As a grandmother she enjoyed going to their various activities and went to WSHS homecoming football games as a cheerleader until she was 80 years old. An avid OSU Buckeye fan. She continued dancing especially with the Witt Brothers at Giammarco's patio. Survived by her daughter, Jerilyn Barlowe; grandchildren, Matt Barlowe and Sara Barlowe Lotz; great-grandchildren, Ericka Lotz, Victoria and Julia Barlowe; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband David, son-in-law, Tim Barlowe, parents, Stephen and Juanita Pfeifer, and sister, Jackie Jacober. Friends may call at the Moreland Funeral Home, 55 E. Schrock Road, Westerville, Thursday 4-7 p.m. Family graveside service will be held Friday at Northlawn Memory Gardens. Celebration of Life will be held at Church of the Master U.M., 24 N. Grove Street, Westerville. 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025, Pastor Katya Brodbeck, officiating, followed by a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall. Thanks to Mt. Carmel Hospice for their care. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Church of the Master or WSHS Thespians Troupe #513.
