Sarah Antio, aged 75, of Lake Isabella, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025, at McLaren Central Michigan. Born on October 1, 1950, Sarah was the youngest of seven children, welcomed into the home by her parents, Walter and Francis (Benson) Taylor, and her elder siblings, Virley, J.C., Lacy, Gladys, Nola, and Betty. Sarah was employed by Mt. Pleasant High School, beginning in food service in 1984. She became a custodian in 1985, transferring to Vowels Elementary to become the head custodian, and retired in 1999. She loved to fish with her husband and took pride in making sure that she caught the biggest fish. She enjoyed sewing and quilting, and family was the center of her life. Known as a master gardener to most people, her garden was 40' x 60' and contained many varieties of fruits and vegetables. She enjoyed making pies, especially her strawberry rhubarb pie.

Sarah was a member of the Brown and Bellows Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Michael Antio; children, Suzanne Mullins of South Carolina, Kimberly (David) Kelley of Highland, Gregory Pattenaude of Henderson TN, Jeremy (Theresa) Antio of Powell TN, and Sabrina (Eric) Noyes-Ardrey of Byron Center; grandchildren, Patrick (Jessica) Blythe, Bruce Blythe, Danielle Blythe, Sean (fiancée Chelsie Kimball) Blythe; Gabriel Mullins, Isaiah Mullins, Olesya Mullins; Nathan Kelley, Mikaela (Brenden) Madden; Raamiah (fiancé Julian Torres) Pattenaude; Ethan (fiancée Nikki Pierce) Barz, Logan (fiancée Matilda Senior) Antio, Corbin Antio; Katie Noyes and Korey Noyes; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Nola Pruett and Betty Parsons; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Francis Taylor; and siblings, Virley Darity, J.C. Taylor, Lacy Taylor, and Gladys Thomas.

Sarah's life will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 18, at Charles R. Lux Family Funeral Home. Committal will be at Bennett Cemetery in Sherman Township, Isabella County.
