Sarah Lynn Church

Sarah Lynn Church, 40, of College Park, Georgia, formerly of Sanford, passed away suddenly March 24, 2025. She was born May 16, 1984 in Midland to her loving parents, Jack Russell Harper II and Barbara Jean (Crosson) Harper. Sarah grew up in Sanford and graduated from Meridian High School. While there, she enjoyed playing volleyball and running track. Sarah enjoyed helping people feel good about themselves, so she became a cosmetologist. After years of honing her skills, she turned it into an artform. Her artistic prowess did not end there. Sarah loved to express herself through other media, painting, drawing, clay, and mosaics. She saw artistic purpose and potential in everything, just as she did with people. Sarah loved nature and enjoyed the beauty of the outdoors. Sarah lived to make others happy and always put her family first. Her big smile had a personality to match. The love she had for her family, especially her husband, Kevin, son, Dax, and two big cats, was unmatched. Sarah's memory and spirit will live on forever in the lives of those who love her.
Left to cherish Sarah's memory are her husband, Kevin Church; son, Dax Owen Church; parents, Jack and Barb Harper II; brother, Jack Russell (Anneliese) Harper III; grandma, Norma Louise Crosson; brother-in-law, Chad (Jessica) Church; nieces, Allie, Cecilia, and Kylie; nephews, Corbin and Henry; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and in-laws who loved her dearly. She was preceded in death by her grandpas, Harold Ray Crosson and Jack Russell Harper Sr. and her grandma, Marie Dorothy Harper.
Funeral services for Sarah will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, 2025 from Axiom Church, 1264 East Isabella Road. Pastor Don Duford will officiate with burial to follow at 1:45 p.m. in Midland Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Home, 1200 West Wheeler Street, on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a college fund for her son Dax through the care of Kevin Church. All of us at Ware Smith Woolever are honored the family has entrusted us with the care of their loved one.
