Sarah Deschamp Obituary

Sarah attended Washington Elementary school in Valley City & attended Valley City High School through her sophomore year. She lived in Sutton, ND for her last two years of high school and graduated from Midkota High School in Glenfield ND in 1993. After high school, she attended Lake Region College in Devils Lake for one year.
After college, she lived in Great Falls, MT, Colorado Springs, Fargo, West Fargo and Alexandria, MN. She and her fiancé, Allen Machovsky, moved to a house by Barnesville, MN, in July of 2023.
Sarah passed away at her mother's house in West Fargo on April 26, 2024.
Sarah will be missed by her mother, Marlene Nelson; sister, Andrea Deschamp, both of West Fargo; Allen Machovsky and his children Tyler, Kody, Boden and Presley. She is also survived by her uncle, David Thompson of Rugby; her aunt, Ila LaChapelle of Portland, ND; uncle, Al Fletschock of Devils Lake, ND; and cousins, Amber, Lindsey, Scott, and MacKenzie. Her wonderful dog, Millie, also survives her.
She was preceded in death by grandparents Esther and Melvin Thompson, Irene and Edgar Deschamp, father Bob Deschamp, stepfather Gregory Nelson, aunt Ruth Ann Fletschock, and uncle Ray LaChapelle.
Sarah worked at Frazer, Limited and SOCS where she met many friends. She was great at remembering holidays and birthdays. She would send several cards to different people daily. Sarah spent a lot of time applying makeup. She liked to bake. She liked to shop. Her health put limits on these activities in the last years.
Celebration of Life: Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 2 PM, West Funeral Home, West Fargo, ND, with visitation one hour before the service.
