Sarah Dilbeck Obituary
Sarah Dilbeck, age 72 of the Stinking Creek Community passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025. Known affectionately to her family as “Grandma Grumpus”, Sarah attended Lick Creek Holiness Church, and was a longtime caregiver who dearly loved spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her beloved son, David Dilbeck, parents, Ancil and Sarah Louisa Smiddy, sister, Kathleen Stewart Burwell, and brothers, Kyle Smiddy and Henry Ridenour.
Sara is survived by her daughter, Sonya Reynolds and husband, Jeff; son, Anthony Dilbeck and wife, Vanessa; grandchildren, Jacob Reynolds, Jared Dilbeck, Sharay Wells, Nick Wells (Keisha), and Dylan Anthony Dilbeck; very special twin sister, Sherry McCulley (Clarence Goins); longtime friend, Joyce Reese; several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Ther family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM with Rev. Chris Wilson and Rev. Sampson Ridenour officiating. Family and friends will meet on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, 11:00 AM and proceed to Davis Cemetery for 12:00 PM Graveside Services and Interment. Walters Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Sarah Dilbeck.
