Belva M. Chapman

Mrs. Belva Mae Chapman of Jacksboro, TN passed from this life to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 23, 2025. She was 88 years of age. A member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Faith from 1980 to 2018, and later attended 13th Street Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 46 ½ years, Bobby Ray Chapman, parents, Goldmon and Georgia (Gross) Lindsay, grandson, Richard Mack Chapman, daughter-in-law, Vicky Chapman, sisters, Meady Ann Lasley (Frank Lasley), Dixie Faye Shelton (Charles Shelton), Grace Elizabeth Tapp (Frank Tapp), and Betty Draughn (Roy Draughn), and several aunts, uncles, and 3 nephews.

She is survived by her children, son, Ricky Lane Chapman, daughter, Kimberly Chapman, and son, Randall Chad Chapman (Cindy Chapman); grandchildren, April Jessie Selvy (Roger), Lindsee Tierra Hatfield (David Walton), Michael Randall Chapman (Santana Chapman), and Michael Smith; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Caleb, Greyson, Jaxson, Shawn Bradley, Blakely, and Arianna; sisters, Mary Ellen McDaniels (Edwin McDaniels), Martha Swafford, and Louise Reynolds (Donald Reynolds); a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews, all of whom she loved very much, and a host of friends whom she also loved very much.

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 PM with Rev. James Adkins officiating. Family and friends will meet on Saturday, November 29, 2025, 9:30 AM and proceed to Indian Creek Cemetery for 10:00 AM Graveside Services and Interment.
